I write a lot about identity, or the myth of it. I’m interested in how fragmented we are within ourselves, and how memories and perceptions affect who we become. Even how choosing how to remember something, because sometimes, if we’re honest with ourselves, we do have a choice in which slant we put on something and therefore how we shape our journey forward. I am also interested in how we narrate each other, and frequently do so unreliably.

I find inspiration in shadows, reflections, sadness, darkness and light – just like I do with my photography. I’m interested in how others may experience something I have experienced, and how people think differently, and see things differently, even if they are witnessing the same event.
